Tibetan Independance

In 1911, Tibet was declared independant from China after the Xinhai revolution. This was both a victory for man and Garou. In the following celebration, Nasu (meaning peace) was conceived, and on the 13th of November 1911 Nasu was born under a quarter moon from a Stargazer mother and a Stargazer kinfolk father. After a Baptism of Fire, it was clear this child would become a Garou. And thus, he was raised as one. He would visit the Sept of the Snow Leopard on a weekly basis, learning to interact with the spirits and being taught Garou customs. And on his 22nd birthday, he had his first change, In the same year as the death of the 13th Dalai Lama (these two events are unrelated however).

Becoming Cliath

Although Nasu had his First Change on a relative late age, he already knew most of the rites and customs of the Garou, and within a short time he rose to the rank of Cliath. He was given the name "Walks the Line", for his tendency to go just a bit deeper into the Umbra than his fellow Garou.

The Chinese Invasion

In 1950, the Chinese invaded Tibet, claiming it was "always part of China". This brought massive changes to Tibet, both on the Realm and on the Umbra. After the initial turmoil of the invasion, fellow Garou started to realize something. Walks the Line was born in 1911, making him quite old. How is he still looking like he is 25? And so, in 1964, an Athro Stargazer Philodox subpoena'd Walks the Line for answers. What happened after the Subpoena is only known to few Garou and Spirts, obviously including Walks the Line. After this, Walks the Line started doing more and more umbral quests, sometimes taking multiple months before resurfacing.

The Fall of the Sept of the Snow Leopard

In 1987, after a one and a half year long umbral quest, Walks the Line walked up to the Alpha of the Sept of the Snow Leopard, and challenged for the position of Keeper of the Lands. For this challenge, he had to get more support from the surrounding spirits than the current Keeper of the Lands.

The Beast Courts

In 1999, the Beast Courts invited all Stargazers to join them in order to retake the Stargazers' ancenstral homelands. Many know the stories of disbelief and disappointment of the other tribes, but few know of the stories of the few Stargazers that simply didn't respond or straight up declined the offer. After nobody had heard of Walks the Line in over a year since the invitation, more and more Garou simply assumed he had gone too deep into the Umbra and had either died or turned into a spirit.
