This Garou of Finnish origin is the uncle of the fallen Kalle Raikonen who was part of the "Riders of Ragnarok". A fierce Get of Fenris Theurge which has proven himself in battle in the Scandinavian parts of Europe. An iconoclast and a criticaster by nature, he would rather be a Ragabash, but he was born under the quarter moon. He does not see spirits as spirits, because he refuses to believe in them. For him they are as physical as you and me. Born near the northern Karelia forest, he is accustomed to severe cold. Also has a background in the occult and is known to practice magic that people would describe as "black", but to Timo all magic is magic and to distinguish between "good" and "evil" is foolish. In Finland he is known as "Frozen Fang", or "Jähmettynyt hammas" in finnish. It is also his Garou name. He earned that name because during his rite of passage he battled and vanquished a fairly large group of Wyrm in the biting cold with almost no clothing and no weapons other than his claws and teeth while he was a cup. Because he as affinity with his claws and teeth, he sees no use for other weapons other than for ceremonial and ritual use. "Using a weapon is conceding that your claws are no good", is what he often says.
He grew up in the far far north in Utsjoki near the border of Norway where temperatures of -30 degrees in winter was considered a warm day. Because he was around a lot of Saami, he also knows the Saami language, and he absolutely loves reindeer meat. As a youth he ran with the wolves and howled with them. To find out he was a Garou because of his first change, was no surprise to him.
His first change happened when he was protecting his family from banes that appeared near his homestead. His father (a magnificent Get of Fenris Ahroun Adren) went to combat them and Timo followed him without him knowing. When one of the banes spotted Timo and went after him, Timo went into Crinos and slaughtered a few banes in a fit of rage, ripping them to shreds with his claws and fangs. His father noticed and finally his suspicions that Timo might also be garou were confirmed. He was taken to the Caern the next opportunity to be embraced by the local sept of Get of Fenris. His den father was cold and brutal, and not many cubs survived his rule, but Timo prevailed to become a Cliath. When he became Cliath, the first thing he did was challenge his den father to a battle, end even though he lost and his father broke up the fight, he inflicted several grave scars the denfather still carries. Timo still has an almost unnoticable limp from that rash decision. When the weather changes, he needs a cane to walk right.
Since Timo was a Theurge and hung around a lot with the local Saami tribes, he always thought that spirit-worship was silly, and up to this day still does not believe in such things. Even though Timo does not believe in spirits and ghosts, he has interacted with many of them. He can command and persuade physical and ethereal beings, and he refuses to differentiate. He simply does not discern the difference.
As for Norse totems and gods, he has had audiences with Thor, Odin, Loki and Fenrir. Odin and Fenrir are definately his favourite gods, even though he just sees them as formidable persons with lots of power, sometimes to the amusement of some deities.
Timo is not your average Get of Fenris, he is pragmatic, practical and a bit mistrusting. He doesn't lose his temper quickly, but when he does, he sometimes makes rash decisions only to regret them later. He likes to stay in the background where people do not notice him and loves to listen in on conversations, that's why he sometimes knows things that he probably shouldn't know.
Forgiving is something Timo rarely does, but when he sees his mistake, he will own up, and seek the best way to reconcile difference. One recent event was when he forgave the now current Warden of the Bluepelt Sept. He took out a bottle of mead during the mootrite and offered to share it with him (the way of the Fianna) as he apologised for attacking him in the back.
Timo died on the Cairn of the Bluepelt sept during a large fight with some Factoids, after heroically obtaining the scroll that contained the spell to close the Umbral holes.
