Mirror

In Februari, 2007 a prophecy was spread on the Cearn that said:

'In four months the Pen Umbra will change, Red light will shine, The gate that has been closed will open, and all those that fought and died a thousand years ago, will rise to fight again.'

Then in Juni, 2007 some rifts on the Pen umbra were discovered. Banes and other creatures from the Deep Umbra came through them. Also pieces of a broken mirror, smudged with Wyrm tainted blood, were found on several places. When the Garou of Delft tried to put the pieces together, they saw that words were written upon it. But the mirror pieces are not complete and therefor it was impossible to piece together what was written upon it.

After some investigation, it became clear that the mirror was used in some dark Wyrm ritual and Conny discovered that it was broken on one central point, the Electro faculty of the TU Delft. This is also the location of the Weaver mainframe in Delft. The pieces then fell into the umbra and some of them fell into the deep umbra, lost for the Garou of Delft. It is unclear if all pieces are needed, but the rifts in the umbra need to be sealed because terrible banes that are immensely strong will crawl through them.

Guardians

Some guardians of deep umbra realms have visited the cearn. They urge the Garou to close the rifts in the Umbra and they guard the rifts to keep inside what they can. One of these guardians has promised to visit the Cearn again next month in September.

Changes in the Pen umbra

Because the bounderies between the Deep and the Pen umbra are becomming less and less, the pen Umbra gets more enigmatic and strange to the Garou. Many spirits have fled because of the many banes that came out of the rifts. The Weaver is working on closing rifts, being responsible for the gauntlet/boundary between the deep and pen umbra, but it evidently struggles to keep up with the rifts that keep appearing.
